We don't track you. We don't sell your data. We don't show ads. Didu is built to respect your privacy from the ground up. Your reading habits, quiz results, and personal information are yours alone.

Who we are

Didu is operated by Didu Labs ApS, a company registered in Copenhagen, Denmark (CVR: 45766446). We are the data controller for the personal data we process.

What data we collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the Didu service:

• Account information: If you create an account, we store your email address and subscription status.
• App usage: We collect anonymous, aggregated analytics to understand which features are used. This data cannot be linked back to you personally.
• Subscription data: Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details.

What we don't collect

• We don't use tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or advertising identifiers.
• We don't build user profiles for marketing or ad targeting.
• We don't sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.
• We don't use third-party analytics tools that track individual users.

How we use your data

We use the data we collect solely to provide and improve the Didu app. This includes delivering your daily drops, managing your subscription, and understanding how the app is used in aggregate.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Our infrastructure is hosted within the EU, complying with GDPR requirements. We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide the service.

Your rights (GDPR)

As a user in the EU, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Request a portable copy of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet)

Cookies

The Didu website uses only essential cookies required for basic functionality. We do not use any marketing, analytics, or tracking cookies.

Children's privacy

Didu is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app or by email. The latest version is always available on this page.
